Beyond the concours and autocross awards are the special awards, the Lord Rootes, Wally Smith, and Keith Porter Awards. These were presented by Pam Jeffers.
The Lord Rootes trophy is presented to a member who has made significant contributions to TE/AE and the Marque during the previous year. This award is considered to be the club’s highest honor since it is bestowed by peers and is recognition of commitment and service to others.
The Wally Swift Award is presented to the owner of the car or cars that does the best in the combination of the Popular Vote and the Autocross.
The Keith Porter Award recognizes a United attendee who completes the Autocross runs with enthusiasm, goodwill, team spirit and a top percentile finish in class. The award is presented to both an Alpine owner/driver and a Tiger owner/driver.
