Parts for the Solex Carburetor used on late series 3 and series 4 Alpines are getting harder to find. The accelerator pump diaphragm is no longer available.
I have found that a Weber diaphragm from a DGV Carb can be used with good results by enlarging the fuel pump cover slightly to allow the Weber piston to fit. It is then fastened with four of the existing six screws.
