Your Sunbeam has bolts on the rear wheel well for installation of across-the-shoulder seat belts. You can see them by looking into the wheel wells. J.C. Whitney (among others) has a nice quality belt that bolts right in and offers much higher protection than lap belts (P/N 17-6094-Y for black).
To install, you will need to cut the vinyl on the inside of the wheel well. You can feel the bolt area through the vinyl so it’s easy to make your cut in the proper place. When installing in a Mk I Tiger or early series Alpine do not use the plastic bolt cover supplied with the belt. It will interfere with the folding boot.
