I am registering the car on Monday and will be getting a personalized rear plate for the car.

When I lived in Wisconsin I had:
SBM TGR on the Tiger.
AHS MKI on my 1958 Bugeye Sprite
MGTD 52 on my 1952 MGTD
My guess is that the ones you would like are probably already taken, but who knows for sure?!!!

I used to get many more comments on TYGRRR on my MKII than I get on my PDQ67 on my MK1A.

I had a 59 Bugeye myself. Also had a 67 MGB GT.
I am registering the car in kansas. Not many Tigers here. I hope to get 66TIGER. But I still have to wait another two weeks to get my car fixed. See Tiger hurt message.

There was a Minx in the local pick-your-part years ago… I’d pick it up now but that wasn’t an option then. Not much room in there for a V8, but it would definitely be an eye-opener if you got it to fit.

My condolences on the back end of your Tiger.
For the Minx, let’s take out the back seat and see if a V8 will fit. That would also give better weight distribution.

You’ll never know until you ask at the registry…I had a slew of crafty words all picked out when I went for my plates….and asked for ,and got TIGER ! What are the odds of no one in Nebraska having spoken for that plate when every other High School seems to be the Tigers….??
