  I was in Rapid City over the weekend and thought I’d give you an update on construction projects along I-90 in South Dakota. As you may already know, the speed limit along Interstate 90 in South Dakota is 75 mph. Nice for cruising!
  
  There are no construction zones on I-90 between Sioux Falls and Mitchell. Between Mitchell and the Missouri River there are several areas where traffic is routed into one lane. While an annoyance, it really will not slow you down very much. The speed limits are still 65 mph for most of the zone and cut back to 45 mph for very short lengths.
  
  Once across the river there are 3 small projects between Chamberlain and Rapid City. There are 3 projects west of Rapid at Exits 30, 52 and 61. You can view the locations of all of them by visiting the link that follows: http://safetravelusa.com/sd/
  
  The invitation still stands to any SUNI travelers to stop for a sandwich and beverage while traveling through Mitchell along I-90. 😀
