  Some time back, I was asking about what kind of transmission fluid I should use for my Alpine V. I got various responses. I chose CastrolHD30 and it works like a charm, no more problems with getting stuck in reverse.
  As the Rootes manual says, it requires 3 1/2 pints, just short of two quarts.

  Jim, there are some Rootes recommendations that are still valid. 30WT oil in trans is one of them. Root with confidence in your Rootes.
