  After 30 years of disassembly my Tiger is slowing getting back together as a complete restoration. Question: On the steering column bracket in the engine compartment is there supposed to be a rubber gasket or cushion of some type. The bracket looks too large for the column diameter. Thanks.

  Yes, there is a rubber piece that goes around the column. It’s about 1/8 inch thick.

  Hi guys a real nice piece for this is
  at the hardware store. It’s called plumber gasket about 1/8 thick
  comes in black and red sheets.8X8 12X12
