Hello Everyone,
While my Tiger is sleeping for the winter season I’m taking the time to do some additional mechanical maintenance (rebuild the heads, go over the braking system, and a new exhaust). As a finishing touch, I’ve just purchased a repro "Sunbeam Ltd" sticker that is supposed to be on my valve cover and obviously currently, is not. My engine is an original 260 with all casting numbers matching so I must assume that my sticker just came off over the years. My question is what numbers should be filled in the empty blocks (space for Engine, Model, and S.O. Number)? Also, how were the original numbers listed (hand written, machine printed, or possibly even typed)? I’d like to fill in the correct numbers for my car and have this sticker look close to original.
Thanks,
Fred Wiesinger
