British Car Club rooms if you call or it is shown at this link if you reserve a room on line.

Schedule

Friday April 4th Set-up the swap meet in the host hotel parts room which opens at 10 AM. Snacks and drinks all day long with pizza and subs in the parts room at 6 PM. A few tech sessions during the day, tire kicking in the parking lot, and socializing all day long!

Saturday April 5th British Car Show and Tartan Day Festival at the Columbia Motor Speedway 8:30 – 3:30. Pay as you go dinner will be at The Flight Deck at 7:00 pm. https://www.flightdeckrestaurant.net/

OK-we are almost a month away from the Invasion/BASH!

Todd and I met yesterday to make plans.

We have 12 Sunbeams registered so far and figure we will again have around 30 Sunbeams at the show. Early registration ends on March 22 so after that and at the gate it will cost $45. Get those hotel rooms reserved as the block of them expires soon at the lower rate. Bring lots of parts to sell at the parts room and if you can’t bring a Sunbeam come join us anyway-it will keep you motivated and you’ll have fun with your friends!

The block of rooms at our host hotel has been sold out and time has expired so they can’t add more rooms to the block.
You can still get a room at the host hotel but it will cost a little more.
Don’t call the national reservations phone number-use this number

803-957-5000.

And get your registration form mailed soon as March 22 is the deadline to avoid the higher cost.

Tech Sessions at the Invasion!
One of our long time members will be displaying the latest Rebel wiring kits and answer any questions you may have about installing one in your Sunbeam. He also rebuilds front brake calipers and will talk about them as well.
These will take place on Friday April 4th in the parts room around 4 PM.

30 Sunbeams registered so far! It is not too late to register or you can register at the gate on Saturday. Don’t forget to bring your parts to sell or trade at the swap meet on Friday at the host hotel-we have a great time there all day long.
Car not ready to bring? Come join us anyway, the cars are just a good excuse to meet up with new or old friends!

Invasion follow up
30 Sunbeams were at the Saturday British car show and there were some incredible cars on display. Both Friday and Saturday the temps were near 90 degrees but a nice breeze kept everyone cooled down and thanks to Todd for bringing his tents for needed shade! The weekend was a lot of fun for everyone and we look forward to hosting y’all again next year.

PS-the cars are just an excuse to meet up with some great friends!!
