  Can someone confirm the tooth count on a stock 289 Mark II ring gear?
  I want to replace the starter and I understand the tooth count is needed to select the right starter.
  It seems that there are two types of starters, one for a 164 tooth count and another for a 157 tooth count. They also have different offsets.

  My information is 157 tooth for 260 and 289 five and six blot bellhousings
