  Maybe this is a pretty elementary question, but was wondering at what point in the production cycle did Rootes stop putting the SUNBEAM lettering on the front of the car? Thanks, guys.

  The SUNBEAM letters above the front grille were dropped beginning with the crossover bodies…ID#382000001.

  Bill, It was pretty much with the switch to square corner doors, Alpine I-IV did – Alpine V did not, Tiger I did – Tiger Ia and II did not.
  Hope this is what you were looking for.
