      Hi all,

New to the forum, and am looking forward to posting…. I’ve been offered the chance to purchase a 1965 Sunbeam Tiger. Being a British car nut (and a Ford fan to boot), this one will be right up my ally. It’s been sitting for 26 years, and will be an agressive restoration to say the least, but it is bone stock with the exception of the Moto Lita steering wheel and I’m looking forward to saving it. The chassis no. is B9471770. When I learn how to post pics here, I’ll post some. I’m sure I’ll be looking for lots of parts AND advice!!

Welcome to the TEAE forum. You will find lots of folks here who will be very willing to assist you in getting your Tiger back on the road.

In August of 2008 I purchased a ’66 Tiger that had not been driven since the late ’80’s. I am nearing the completion of my work to get it back on the road. It takes time, more dollars than you think, and a good bit of patience. But it is immensely satisfying to observe the transition from a restoration candidate to a real driving Tiger. Good luck to you!
