My father has I think a 65 Alpine that he recently purchased that has some quirky brake issues. It is a 1725 with power brakes.
The rear brakes would lock up almost immediately while driving. The wheel cylinders in the back looked questionable so I replaced them, only to find that it is doing the same thing and now the front brakes are locking up.
After searching here I see that problems with the booster are common, does this sound like a booster gone bad that is not allowing the pistons to retract?

Sound like the booster to me try bypassing it and the brakes should work, You may need to check your master fluid as when the booster goes bad it drinks up brake fluid till it gets full 😯
