  Hi All, I’m rebuilding my 1725 Alpine engine w/Sunbeam Specialties NOS short block. I need to transfer the flywheel locator stud on end of crank to new engine. I’ve banged on it a bit, but didn’t seem to move. What is the prefered method of removing this stud? Heat? penetrating oil? bang on it more?

  figured it out, longer heaver driving rod and bigger hammer.
