  The ignition warning light on my Mk II does not function. I have had the alternator output checked, replaced the voltage regulator, checked the bulb, checked the bulb socket for continuity, checked each wire terminal- to- terminal for continuity in accordance with the wiring diagram. The resistance across the ignition resistor is 2.4 ohms. The reading is the same with or without the bulb installed. The car runs fine, battery stays charged, but the warning light refuses to come on when the ignition is turned on. Can anyone help??
