  After 30 years of my Tiger being in boxes I am finally getting it back together as part of a total restoration. There is a crude burned hole through the crossmember. Is this a path for the Speedometer cable? Thanks. Rick

  Not through the front suspension crossmember-do you mean though the X member on the chassis? If so, yes that crude hole is it!

  Wrap the cable with rubber or foam to protect the cable through that hole….
