  My first question! Here goes. I’ve seen photos of Tiger Mk1s with the headlight hoods in chrome rather than body color. Was this an option, or something that folks have done to jazz up the cars? Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks so much!

  They were never technically offered as an option but since they came on other cars in the Rootes range there was nothing to prevent you from buying them through the dealer. You can still find them secondhand and if it’s what you like, go for it.
