Hello
I have tiger front springs from British Victoria in my Alpine race car
with 1.5 coils removed but they are still to soft
Can anyone that races recommend a better stiffer spring ?
What is a good Spring Rate for Road racing ?
My friends Alfa spider has a 900lbs spring rate .
Here is a link to group 2 at NHMS look for the blue Alpine #86
the sunbeam is really leaning and I have a 7/8" stabilizer bar

Get a 1 inch stabilizer bar. If you are running springs that are way stiffer than stock, you will also need to get your shocks recalibrated to suit the higher spring rate.
You should measure the VB springs (coil diameter, wire diameter, number of turns) and determine what the true spring rate is. I’ve heard of people running 600 lb/in in Tigers; higher than that might be suitable for some very smooth tracks but on anything with bumps you’re going to be fighting the car pretty hard. I’m running 450 pounds per inch on the street (Aldan coilovers) and that is working pretty well.
Can you lower the car more without having your roll centers go all wonky? That would help limit the lean as well.
