  As part of restoration of my Tiger 1a , I am trying to get the fresh air box flappers ( doors) to work correctly. One side is missing the return spring. Looking at the alpine parts car neither one is working. The design of the flapper ( door) is pretty crazy. Does anyone have a source for the springs or a re-work that improves the function?

  Sunbeam Specialties sells a repair kit for these. Will fix them right up!
