  When the F4B was installed on the Tigers as a LAT option, were they painted? I recently came into one which I’m installing along with a Holley 4160 carb, and I’d like to get the installation as close as possible to the original configuration.
  
  Were they black, aluminum, or “other?”

  Mine is aluminum and does not look like it was ever painted. In my copies of here comes the judge from the BON it says aluminum.
