Hi everyone I’m starting to strip my tiger down for restoration. Most things are off.
I’m starting on removing the dash now. How many fastners are there holding it in.
Does everything come out with it then you disconnect wiring.

Hi Dave
There are about 6 large Phillips head screws holding the dashboard face in. Then remove the lower padded dash rail and turn signal switch and surrounds. Heater cables and oil pressure line must be loosened at the ends and then unplug the wiring harness from the gauges. Ease the dashboard back and remove anything else holding it in. I am sure I forgot a few things! Sounds simple but it isn’t-it will take some time and lots of patience! Good luck……..Eric PS-maybe you could then write up a tech tip for the next Rootes Review or do a tech session at our upcoming United?

Thanks Eric. I’ll try and get some good pic of the project and do a write up. this way I’ll also remember how to put it back together.
I’m excited about finely working on my car.
