Can someone help me identify the color of this Tiger MK1A?

Steve – Hi, a quick Internet search turned up some colour charts on the CAT Forum. The colour looks like ‘Tartan Red’, a darker hue than the more common ‘Carnival Red’. I don’t know if this was a colour originally available from the factory on Tigers – maybe someone else can chime in.

The colour looks very similar to Tom Hilman’s beautiful red Tiger – he told me it is a Toyota colour.

Tartan Red was also a MGB colour used in 1969, probably other years as well. A really nice red. IMO, the nicest MG offered. I may still have the mixture codes somewhere.
