Some of the Bakelite pieces, steering hub cover and vent knobs that I’ve seen look almost like new. Can anyone tell me how to do this? My steering hub cover is dull but in good shape and I’d like it to look as good as the rest of the car.
Thanks

Hey Bill
I have wet sanded the turn signal switch covers with very fine sand paper and then sprayed them with Mar Hyde semi gloss vinyl spray for a great finish. I know the covers are supposed to be glossy black but I prefer the semi gloss color. It is important to make sure the covers are cleaned well in order for the paint to flow correctly and not “fisheye”. This paint works well on any plastic/bakelite parts and seat covers too! Good luck, Eric
