Seems like the rules out there in the "wild west" are different than here… all of my new Buick (GN) buddies keep talking about getting banned forever when they run under 11.5 [with no cage] out here in NJ/PA.

Some of the tracks out here are pretty good about letting you make a all out pass, the track here in El Paso gets to scary to run it all out,9:80’s is about it. They have a outlaw track in demming and also 9:80’s is about as fast as I want to go. Speedworld is a track where I wish I could have really turned up the boost to 16-18lbs on paper its shows about 9:20 @151 but that’s on paper 🙂
I’m really happy with a 9:46 and the car is so streetable, my wife even enjoys riding in the car.
Put the car in three car shows and took a 1st. & 3rd but what was really neat people coming up talking about seeing the car run at the drag strip and how fast it was.
Going to try PINKS again in Nov. at Firebird in AZ -

Scary fast is right! Good show.
Not to hijack your topic, but what type of race insurance do you recommend for the amateur racer, since our street insurance generally won’t cover racing?

I know i’ve seen a couple of ins. company that cover race only cars, if I run across there name I will post it.
I just have reg ins. on my car because I drive it so much on the street.
