Hello. I’m in the process of rebuilding a 66 Alpine. Presently, I’m working on the engine. Does anyone know the spin-on filter that I would need? And, I’m thinking about changing the original fuel pump to an electric one – lessen the strain on the engine. Any ideas? Thanks. Ray

It’s a 3/4″ -16 thread filter. There are lots of filters that work. The popular FL1 used on most Ford vehicles is large but works well. Another nice one is a Renualt LeCar. It is a nice small filter that looks just right on the Alpine. Fram PF952, Purolater 51335. Actually, this filter is available under many brand names. Like NAPA or Autozone. They use their prefix number followed by the 335. Example XX335.

A Fram PH-45 filter fits well too. Or you can cross-reference that number to another brand. Eric
