  I am the guilty owner and, since the note that accompanied the Rock Auto hat told me to wear it proudly, I will also add that this is my second ‘winning’ entry into their blunders column. The first was only tangentially related to my Alpine, as it concerned blowing up the drum brakes on a friend’s Willy’s Jeepster by stepping on the brake pedal with the drum removed. (He wanted to see how they worked.) The connection to Sunbeams? Successfully getting the Jeepster’s brakes back together and working is what convinced me to buy my own classic car and my Alpine followed not long after. 🙂
