  I have recently installed a 4 way flasher system in my car, after reading a couple notes on the subject and checking the wiring diagram I was successful, but I might add that depending on your system and possible other electrical mods/additions you have made you may need a 1N5401 or similar diode installed on the input side of the existing flasher so that the 4 way when activated doesn’t back feed the other components that come off the ignition circuit..I had this issue..I later found this article by Mike Hartman dated 10/9/18 showing the diode installation.
