  I’m finally getting around to change the front end on my 62.Those who know me know I have built another front end with the 11 inch ford rotors that are 5 bolt.
  I am having the 8 inch diff’s rear axles drilled to the 5 bolt pattern.
  It is not neccessary to weld and drill the drums as the Ford ranger 9 inch brake drums are an exact fit .
  Be sides the drilling can reduce the temper of the cast drum making it suceptible to cracking.It is just as cheap to buy th new drums
