One more than one occasion I've caught a certain household member using cleaning products improperly. There was the time she tried to clean a chrome-plated object with Clorox. (This object no longer is chrome). Or the time the mother-of-pearl buttons mysteriously disappeared on a shirt that was being "cleaned" in vinegar.
I'm sure this has been published before, but if you missed the formula for Tiger Tom's "Real Man's Hand Soap", just dry mix equal parts of Tide granular laundry detergent and cornmeal. Use it as you see fit in the comfort of your own home.
