Original Heater Hose Clamps

Postby VaCat33 » Sat Jul 23, 2011 12:32 pm

Hi All,

I am in need of original type hose clamps that secure the heater hose at the inlet and outlet of the heater valve. Mine were just not getting the job done anymore so I had to replace them with modern band type clamps. I would really like to get things back to close to original as possible. If you have any and are willing to part with them please let me know.

Thanks,

Jim

Jim,

Do you mean the soid metal band ones with a bolt that runs through to tighten them or the wire band style clamps?

the wire ones can be found at the tractor suppliers:

If you mean the solid metal band type ones.. not sure where new.. but try contacting eric G (65sunbeam) or robery jaarsman, they might have some good S/H ones.

Michael

That is correct...I am looking for the solid band type clamp with the bolt that tightens it. I believe they are the same for the Alpine and Tiger, although they have different (but very close) numbers in the Parts Catalog.

I got a photo off the SAOCA website. The clamp I am looking for is the one in the lower right of the attached photo.

If I do not get any response, I will reach out to those you suggest.

Thanks, Jim
