Re: Turn signal canceling mechanism

Thank you, TT! It will probably be a few weeks before getting a chance to address this but I'll share any feedback I have.

Re: Turn signal canceling mechanism

I'll look forward to the write-up, as well, as my signal only works for right turns (lever up) but won't hold for left (lever down).

Thanks!

Re: SCCA Runoffs at Indianapolis Motor Speedway

Nice 4th place finish, today, Tom! Especially liked the pass of the Andretti #44 car. Too bad it wouldn't hold.

Go Team Tiger!

Re: Watkins Glen International next for Team Tiger

I'll mention this to my son who lives in Syracuse. I've encouraged him a few times to visit Watkins Glen. Any chance Team Tiger will go to Road America? I'll be attending the vintage International Challenge races July 20.-23.

Good luck and best wishes for success!

Re: Road America Vintage Races

What a difference a year makes. Last year--my first time to the Hawk Vintage Races--we enjoyed phenomenal weather. This year not so much. Drove through 4 1/2 hours of rain on Thursday, set up camp in a drizzle, endured a couple more storms early Friday am and then found ourselves on the losing end o...

Re: Road America Elkhart Lake July 17-20

Great weekend at Road America. Over 300 historic and vintage racers in 12 groups. I saw 1 Alpine and 3 Tigers, in addition to my own Tiger, out and about the grounds. Only one red Tiger was racing; #09 by Charles Glapinski. John Daniels was to have had his green Tiger on the track but apparently had...

Road America Elkhart Lake July 17-20

Anyone in Sunbeam land planning to attend The Hawk vintage car races on July 17-20 at Road America? I'm attending for the first time and bringing a son along. If I can corral a trailer, I may bring the Tiger, too.

Re: Power point with sound

First, I'd like to applaud the choice of northern Michigan for the site of the next United! It will probably be the first time I'll actually be able to drive my Tiger to a United (from Duluth, MN). I also very much like the September dates over the usual October timing (for family reasons not worth ...

Re: TAC event for Sunbeam Tigers at the United

According to recent posting on the SAOCA Forum by Paul A who is managing registrations for the Invasion, there are at least 4 Tigers registered to participate.

Re: TAC event for Sunbeam Tigers at the United

Is there any chance that a few TAC inspectors will be staying around for the Invasion later in the week in Nashville? Due to work schedule conflicts, I can only attend the later Invasion but am happy that I'll be able to bring my Tiger [1st time out of MN since restoration]. I know it's a long shot ...

Re: Originality: hubcaps

Allan, et al. According to TBON, pg. 158, "The trim rings used for the Tiger were unique to the V8 equipped model, for all but a very few late B3920xxxxx vehicles. From this point on, the crisscross-cross pattern was dropped and all cars used the same slotted ring as the Alpine." I guess y...

Re: Originality: hubcaps

Hi guys: If I interpreted TBON correctly, the MKIa trim rings were straight slotted whereas the crisscross pattern was used on earlier versions. At least that's what I used on mine. The tire rims are painted in a unique version of white-- Old English White???-- and the trim rings are held in place b...
