Bring A Sunbeam Here: 2021
May 15, 10 am – 1 pm
Since our COVID risks and restrictions are finally coming down, let’s plan to get our cars out and meet at one of the best auto museums in the world, right in our own back yard.
Located in Philadelphia, PA, the Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum is one of the world’s greatest collections of racing sports cars. Through our theme, “The Spirit of Competition”, we celebrate the history and evolution of these magnificent machines.
Assembled over 50 years by Dr. Frederick Simeone, the Museum contains over 75 historically significant cars including Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, Bugatti, Mercedes, Jaguar, Bentley, Porsche, Aston Martin, Corvette, Ford, and more.
The Simeone Foundation (address and map at the bottom) is currently open regular hours. We’ll be able to park together in the back lot. Pennsylvania COVID regulations currently require that we have our temperatures checked upon entry, wear masks and stay socially distanced while in the museum. They aren’t doing Demo Days yet this year but there are plenty of astounding historic race cars to see.
Our discounted admission will be $10 per person, payable in advance via PayPal to Sumra Manning or use the form below
If there is sufficient interest, we will try to arrange for Tiger owners to have their cars TACd while at the Simeone Collection. If interested, contact Tom Calvert at email@example.com.
After our visit, those interested will drive to lunch
