Berry College
Rome, Georgia
May 14,2011
Approximately five hundred examples of British automobiles and about 5,000 spectators will converge at Berry College in Rome, Georgia for what has become one of the best automotive events in the south east.
Every major example of British car is usually well represented from the elegant Rolls-Royce to the rugged Land Rover. See hundreds of examples of all of the great marques that defined sports cars for several generations; the MG, Austin Healey, Lotus, Triumph, Morgan, Jaguar, Sunbeam, Jensen, Aston Martin, TVR and those flying shoeboxes, the Mini-Cooper.
It’s always fun to look for the little known makes that some owners bring up to exhibit. The nice thing about this event is that the cars aren’t all expected to be immaculate – We appreciate those “Diamonds in the Rough” as well. Organizers would like to encourage everyone to drag their old British Iron (or aluminum) out of the barn and come join the fun. Spectators are welcome and admitted free.
