The British Car Club of Charleston invites you to join in the festivities of our 16th Annual British Car Day at historic Patriot’s Point in Mt. Pleasant, SC. This year’s show will benefit “My Sister’s House;” a safe haven for abused women and children.
FRIDAY
Welcome Reception – Quality Inn @ Patriot’s Point (843) 856-8817 – 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Heavy hors d’oeuvres, beverages and warm welcomes.
SATURDAY
British Car Show – Let’s show off those British beauties we’ve acquired and love to share. Guaranteed to have enthusiastic admirers! Enjoying all British beauties, not just “show” quality cars, we have a “Daily Driver” class for those of us who just have to drive “her” wherever we go!
* Gates open at 10:00 a.m.
* Registration closes at noon
* Judging from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. (Participants’ choice judging)
* Trophies awarded at banquet on board the aircraft carrier Yorktown at 7 p.m. Saturday evening
* Pre-registration deadline – October 21st
* Dash plaques to first 100
Silent Auction – Acquire new and used auto parts or other interesting items at the best prices in town!
50/50 Raffle – Drop a dollar on a raffle ticket, and you could win much, much more!
Valve Cover Races – Bring your customized valve cover racer and test your driving skills. During the five years of this event, participation has grown from three vehicles to over a dozen. Join the fun! Prizes for fastest, best design, and hard luck!
Vendors – See some of your favorite vendors. This is the time to bargain! Show specials available! (Christmas is just around the corner!!!)
Music – Enjoy your favorite background music played by our very own Jim Clees while strolling among lovely British Beauties. Jim keeps us informed as to the various happenings throughout the day.
Refreshments – This year we’ve added box lunches. Lunches MUST be pre-ordered; we will not be ordering any extras so if you wish to partake of these outstanding box lunches, please indicate on the attached selection sheet.

DIRECTIONS
From I-26 – follow I-26 to the end. There will be several exit options; take 221-B. Follow signs to Mt. Pleasant, Hwy. 17N. Cross the Cooper River Bridge and move to right lane at end of bridge and bear right. Follow signs to Coleman Boulevard / Highway 703 then turn right at first traffic light – Patriot’s Point – Quality Inn. Turn left at light – Microtel Inn. Continue past Microtel Inn to light – continue straight across – Master’s Inn on right.
From Hwy.. 17N – Follow Highway 17 through Mt. Pleasant, approx. six miles. Take left at McGrath Darby Blvd. – Microtel Inn on right. Continue past Microtel through traffic light. Quality Inn on right. Take right at McGrath Darby Blvd. – Master’s Inn on right.
From Hwy.. 17S – Travel through Charleston on Highway 17 crossing the Ashley River Bridge. Follow signs to Mt. Pleasant, Hwy.. 17N. Cross the Cooper River Bridge and take same directions as from I-26.
Local Lodging: Inquire about rooms blocked for the British Car Club of Charleston. Must book no later than October 27th.
