Hello. I have a issue with my wiper motor. I took it to a reliable repair shop. He claimed he had it running but couldn’t do it with the switches I provided because he called it a shunted motor. I don’t care if it has both speeds but no matter how I hook it up it will not run. Simply is the red wire for 12volt feed and is there a ground wire or does the housing provide the ground? This is making me feel really stupid. Thanks

Here is how to bench test the wiper motor
The ground wire goes to negative 12 volts and the case of the wiper motor
Green wire goes to positive 12 volts.
Red/green wire and ground wire together gives high speed.
Red/green wire and brown/green wire and ground wires together gives low speed.
