Hello,
Our project continues and we are now working on the suspension.
The shop manual indicates that there should be a ground clearance measuaremenat of 4.25". We assume this to be the distance from the ground to the lowest part of the chassis(the X-Frame exhaust pass through).
Our measurement is 6.5". What is an acceptable and effective meathod of lowing the Tiger by 2.25" to achieve the orginal ground clearance and a lower centre of gravity?
Thank you very much,
Sheldon

Were using 24" both front and rear to the fender lip, this is with 15 " wheels and a 225/50rear and a 205/50 front tire
you can use a lowering block in the rear to get the ride height, you can also remove the rubber isolater to lower the front if you do that you need to put a
thin delrin shim (as we have done in the past)to replace it. you also need to look into the length of the front springs stock is 12.0" free 335s 11.5"
450s 11.0 etc etc etc. the off set bushing in the rear spring can be replaced with a straight one wich will lower the car also, some folks say this has an adverse effect on the handling we saw no differance on the Tiger we had. food for thought!
