I am planning to instal a T5 tranny….any input on if I should try to use a clutch cable with T5 bellhosing or stay hydraulic , and if so do I keep the orig bell housing to do this or modify the T5 one? Anyone done this? do you use the orig clutch pedal with a cable set up? Mike

        Mike,

I used the bracket and slave cylinder from JMC out of San Diego. The link is below:

I added 3an braided brake lines and it works like a champ. This is same set up that alot of mustangs use.

        cheers,

        Frank

Mike you could also try mustangs plus. They sell a kit to relocate the clutch fulcrum so you can you the original slave cylinder. They also carry the JMC products. But I wouldn’t consider the cable. John

Thanks for your replies guys, I am going to stay hydraulic with orig clutch master and a "pull type" hydraulic cyl for the slave, using the T5 bell housing…even found a mustang type shifter handle with a reverse lockout t for that original look…it is made to bolt up to the T5….also using S10 tail housing to get shifter in right ;location….mike
