Looks like a tarted up POS to me.

I like the one from the St Louis Car Museum with the right hand drive wiper arms parked in the drivers line of sight. 😳

Maybe they’ll trade to get the correct ones. 😀

I like how it is screwed not riveted to the bulkhead. Easily transferrable to the next car.

Here is a pic of my vin tag secured with the original pop rivets, note it is #521 and the car never had a data plate below it. Some one got hold of a repop vin tag and worked some magic. A serious inspection should be considered before buying

Is that a customized chev wagon in the file? Forget the model at this moment but it looks good.

Hi Chuck, that’s a custom I built for my brother in law. It started out as a ’55 chevy 150 handiman wagon. Beside the regular sheet metal replacement like all the floors, inner and outer rockers and body mount stuff, there are 19 significant modifications done to it. One of the venues he shows the car at employs a point system to enter. Points are awarded for each modification, minimun 100 to enter, He’s got 175 with this car. The roof was chopped 3 inches and a 1963 chevy wagon roof with the ribs replaced the standard smooth one. The body was also lowered 2 inches. 1956 Desoto quarters were grafted onto the quarters extending them slightly. 1955 Pontiac Starchief side trim. The front consists of a 57 Desoto bumper that was modified to fit, an extended nosed hood, 77 Cordoba frenched headlight buckets and electric antenna. Customised front fenders going into fake Lakes. The rear end treatment is a modified 57 chevy rear bumper, 56 Dodge recessed plate mount and 59 Caddy tail lights. Four Grand Am bucket full custom interior with T-Bird console.

That’s pretty sweet.I did do a chop and section on a 53 Ford sedan way back when.Made it into a pickup ala ranchero.Had a caddy V8.
It started on fire one night and it was not insured. Also a 47 ford coupe chopped and sectioned. That was as far as I got.One person had heard about it and bugged me so much I finally sold it to him.
In 1962 I started on Sunbeams.Had 7 at one time but now down to 2 plus the 29 Model A roadster for my toys

The 62 now has 200 miles on the 302 and it has the power.I really didn’t need 320 ponies but what can I say.Other than a coil cutting out it seems to be getting better each time I drive it
The Lister with the 351 just runs great. It has been trouble free since Suni in Montana.
              remember to have fun

Chuck, the first engine I ever rebuilt was a 331 Cadillac when I was 14 years old. That was a great engine to play with even though it went back into a 52 sedan de ville. The only problem was vapor locking on really hot days. This past Saturday my brother in law and I went to look at a another possible project – a 49 Studebaker truck. Just what I need, another project to slow down my Tiger restoration. But what the heck, I am using HIS garage. 😀 Jeff
