Running for President (vote for 1)

Kerch McConlogue

  • Positions I have held:   Secretary, RootesReview editor, Webmaster
  • Cars I’ve had: Alpine, Rare Rootes

I have been active in the club since at least 2008 playing key roles as webmaster, editor, and secretary.  As President I want to grow the membership, especially among the Alpine and Rare Rootes communities, and to increase interest in club leadership.

Additional information: Sometime in the summer, a small committee contacted 65 members  (by phone!) to inquire about taking leadership roles. We are thankful for those on the list below who agreed to step up (or in some instances, keep up)

Joe and I have been involved in pretty much all the goings on of the club since 2008. RootesReview, website, membership, United registrations, and technical support live in our house.  We had BASHs  here about five times. Neither of us wanted a bigger position,   but TEAE seems to be at a critical point in sustainable leadership plans. That must be fixed.

In the next year, I want to find ways for people to get involved in ways you are comfortable with – some small activities and, hopefully, some larger!

Gilles  Boudrias (data coming)

Thomas E. Calvert (reelection)

  • Positions I have held: President, Board Member, Regional Rep
  • Cars I’ve had:  Tiger

My wife and I are charter members of TEAE. Sunbeam owners since 1973. We have served in a variety of club positions. I am a Senior Tiger Authentication Inspector. I request your vote to continue serving as a member of the TEAE Board of Directors.

Additional Information: Before I finished college, I was working on friends Alpines.  In 1964, I went to the Philadelphia auto show and saw the Sunbeam Tiger.  Little did I know that ten years later I would own one.  Since the start, TEAE has been a large part of my family’s life.  We worked hard to make TEAE what it is today.  Along the way our interest in Sunbeam vehicles has taken us to Rootes events from Maryland to Montana, Canada to Florida, and many in between places in North America.  We have also been to France and the United Kingdom as part of the Rootes/Sunbeam experience.  The many fellow enthusiasts we have met along the way have added to the experience and many of you have become life long friends.

We plan to continue contributing to TEAE as long as the club members vote for us to continue.
