Wow this one is not in bad shape at all. RHD, MK3 too.
Possible contender for the newest Imp in North America.

I wonder if I promised to sell my WRX, if the wife would let me bid on this?

just tell her it's a long term investment and convince her that it's going to be worth a lot in the future. it is a right hand drive and he has everything to convert to left hand if needed. did she grow up around sunbeams? buy it for a spare in case one breaks down or runs out of gas.

Valerie's first car was / is our red Imp.

This RHD car is too good for parts, its a little worn, but just needs a coat of paint and some tweaking. I'd just as soon keep it RHD, one imp for each hand 8)

Not enough... space... time... money.

eric,

you could buy it and hide it at your father in law's. i think it would be a blast to drive with it being rhd. i have always wanted an imp but jean says we need to finish our current projects. this one does look solid.was the color stock for that year?

I'm tending to think that "purple" isn't a factory color.... I can't quite classify it into one of the factory colors. But what do I know... I'm colorblind... can't see the numbers in those dots they show you at the optometrist.
