2017 Team Tiger season begins at Road Atlanta

Postby tpatton » Fri Feb 24, 2017 1:48 pm

With great anticipation Team Tiger is looking forward to starting the 2017 Majors race season at one of our favorite venues the very fast Road Atlanta. We have a test day on Friday March 10th with a qualifying session Saturday morning and our 1st race on Saturday the 11th afternoon. On Sunday the 12th in the afternoon will be race 2. We have done extensive revisions to the suspension to correct some over looked errors from the 2015 crash and updated the shock package. Expectations are high and will be looking forward to dialing the Tiger in.

There is good news and not so good news. We tested yesterday Friday the 10th and all the work done on the suspension was a great success. The Tiger was working good even on cold tires. The bad news a rocker adjuster backed off and resulted in the keeper being displaced and a bent valve. We packed up and drove all night to get home. It is not a major problem and we will be ready for VIR 4/13.
