Great front and rear valance panels, doors, and the fenders are nice if lower patch panels are put on them. Came with a ...

Re: Back up lights

1-yes the Wipac lights are the same for the S5 and the MKII
2-The outsides are made of stainless and won't rust. The inner reflectors were thin metal and rusted away easily. I have found no replacements or gaskets other than buying another set and swapping parts around.

Great newsletter

The latest Rootes Review is excellent! Good mix of people stories (RIP Fred), member spotlight, new projects, tech tips and foreign travel along with some obscure Rootes history. Thanks to all who helped and have a Happy New Years. Eric

Thanks to all! One great United.

What a great United. Perfect weather, great driving roads, plenty of Sunbeam friends, and Mrs. Rowe's Restaurant ( Mom+Pop Southern style food) just down the road! Thanks to Jim, Russ, and crew for all of their hard work. Eric

Re: Passenger side foot panel

I think you have the correct name for it. Sometimes called the footboard too. The two L shaped brackets are welded to the floorboards and the footboard is screwed into them. The top does not fasten to anything-it rests against the firewall. So if the mounting brackets have rusted away over the years...
