Thanks to all! One great United.

What a great United. Perfect weather, great driving roads, plenty of Sunbeam friends, and Mrs. Rowe's Restaurant ( Mom+Pop Southern style food) just down the road! Thanks to Jim, Russ, and crew for all of their hard work. Eric

Re: Passenger side foot panel

I think you have the correct name for it. Sometimes called the footboard too. The two L shaped brackets are welded to the floorboards and the footboard is screwed into them. The top does not fasten to anything-it rests against the firewall. So if the mounting brackets have rusted away over the years...

Sunbeam Alpine and Tiger steering wheel hub rebuild kits-special TEAE member's price!

Special TE/AE member's price for a complete replacement steering wheel hub assembly to fit all Sunbeam Tigers and Sunbeam Alpine Series 3, S4, and SV's. These are made from Delrin-a very hard and machinable plastic and they will replace the cracked or poorly repaired steering wheel hub that you have...

Re: A bittersweet introduction

Hello Bill I am really sorry to hear about Jon's passing. I had not seen him in many years but I knew that he was a serious Rootes car enthusiast. A long time ago he came to TEAE United in his Commer van and that is the first one that I had ever seen. When the time is right post some photos and more...

Re: Shop Manual Capacities

Not sure about the rack capacity but a little too much can't hurt anything. I just fill the transmission until it pours out of the filler hole-no problem there!

Re: Friends In Sunbeams - 2017

Thanks Bill for posting!
We went last year and had a great time. Great driving roads, excellent Mom and Pop eating places and lots of new things to discover with Sunbeam friends. We hope to go this year too.

How many Alpine owners does it take to push a Tiger off and then on a trailer? Carb problems.....and he towed from Texas!

Re: Sunbeam SOS-Columbia, SC March 31-April 1

Thanks for posting all of the photos Bob. It is great that you and Jean come on down from Ohio every year for this and bring your car too! The Geschkes come from Wisconsin to escape the cold as well.

Re: Sunbeam SOS-Columbia, SC March 31-April 1

Tomorrow is the last day for early registration! Save money and get a T shirt too.
We have 13 cars registered so far-Alpines, Tigers, and a Hillman Husky (Hi Ted!) Folks from Texas, Wisconsin, Ohio, and all the states around South Carolina too.....

Re: Sunbeam SOS-Columbia, SC March 31-April 1

Make sure you register at http://www.bccmc.com/carolina-british-classics-xi/ before March 17th to get the lower registration cost and also the free T shirt. We won't have a hospitality suite at the hotel this year due to a few things out of our control-but we will have a great time anyway! Starting ...

Have a safe trip Paul! I bet you don't see another Sunbeam on the road either-is Ol' Blue Ed's former car? Give our best to Chuck's family.
