I received a call from his wife Cathy this morning letting us know of his passing. It was very quick and unexpected, just three days after entering the hospita...

Re: "SUNBEAM" script on front

Bill, It was pretty much with the switch to square corner doors, Alpine I-IV did - Alpine V did not, Tiger I did - Tiger Ia and II did not.
Hope this is what you were looking for.

Re: Alpine series 111 hydraulic clutch line

Bill, There were two different size lines / fittings used on the Alpines. I don't know the exact size but there is what I call a large and a small .. as you can see. Even though I knew this I have rebuilt mis-matched pairs before and felt pretty dumb when I finally realized it. As Eric suggested ......

Cooters of Sperryville, Va.

Even though this is not a Sunbeam event some folks might be interested in this event taking place on Aug. 13th & 14th near Sperryville Virginia. As some of you may remember Cooters Garage was one of the attractions of the "Return to your Rootes" event held in Virginia in 2001, everyone...

Re: British Car Day - Maryland

Joe, You beat me to the punch on this one. I was going to email a reminder to the Virginia region today to encourage members to attend this event if possable. Although I have begun to shy away (somewhat) from the "All" British car shows, This is a big one, and is a good venue for a large &...

Tiger Steering Rack

Thanks Paul, It looks like maybe the Sprite '58 to '67 and the Miget '61 to '67 shared the same Rack, that would put it in the right time frame for use on the Tiger. I'll keep looking.............there should be one in an old Salvage Yard somewhere near me..............just have to keep looking. It ...

Tiger Steering Rack

Greetings to all on the Forum, I don't get to post too often ........I was wondering if you could tell me if an MGB Steering Rack is the same as a Tiger Steering rack, in whole, or in part. One has been offered to me (make me an offer) but it is still in the car and condition unknown. I thought if i...

What co...
